Welcome to our Friends & Family Page

ON THE HOME FRONT:  We stand in "awe" of what God is doing in our kids' lives...Our favorite saying has become, "Whoever said that life gets quieter when your kids start leaving home forgot to tell that to our kids!!"  With only 1 of our 6 children still at home, life is just as busy as ever.

Ramie, a Senior this year, with only two classes to complete and the world outside of Richland beckoning to her, has opted to finish High School via home-school.  It's working out great for her and gives her time to ride, work and write for college scholarships.

Kendra graduated from Concordia University this year and promptly left for that trip to Greece we mentioned in last winter's newsletter.  A few weeks into the trip she met up with her close friend and they "camped" across Italy, Switzerland and parts between.  We were treated to a long pix presentation during her Thanksgiving visit...ahh, the adventuresome spirit of youth!  At home in Portland she is finishing her internship at Beautiful Savior Church is youth ministries.

Karla graduated early from Multnomah Bible College this year and was immediately deployed to Afghanistan where she serves in the Army National Guard.  We are thankful for email and Instant Messaging that allows us to be in contact often.  She urges everyone to continue your prayers and support of all our troops and their families and gives you all her thanks!

Rygh divided the year between working for us riding and helping at clinics and working for several ranches.  With his increasing skills on horses, he's so valuable to us here, we dread it when he ventures away...but what's a young buckaroo to do when the call of the desert beckons?
Rena is currently attending Eastern Oregon University in LaGrande and has changed her major from Ag Business to English.  She ventures home most weekends to ride, visit her Corgi, and hang out with the family.  She's looking forward to getting back to showing her horse this spring at Mountain Trail.

Jesse is working long hours driving semi dump truck for the mine in Elko, NV.  Somehow he also finds time to hunt, take college classes and hand with friends.
WE'RE PROUD OF THEM ALL!!

"If my life is fruitless,
it doesn't matter who praises me,
and if my life is fruitful,
it doesn't matter who criticizes me."
